Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good week! Due to recent events from this weekend (Singing at the top of my lungs with Jenna in the car all day Saturday) I have begun to lose my voice, and I work until Wednesday. I received special permission to do this ONE TIME POST. Because, we are going through all the Audition stuff, and our subs were all used :(

SO this weeks topics..

Topic one: What to do when faced with discrimination (based on gender stereotypes, sexual preferences orientation etc etc) from an authority figure. - I took a stand for myself at my work because of this actually. I told them I was still the same person before they found out the information, so I don’t know why it made a difference. The best way to approach it, is have a calm sit down conversation with whoever is involved PLUS the person above them. . I think being Civil is key as well. If my coworkers don’t like my sexuality. I don’t care, they aren’t living MY life. Having a support group works really well too. My friends (and the many people of Walmart) have probably heard so many things regarding me and work, just venting about things going on. 

Topic two: if you saw something similar to what was described above taking place and you want to help what could you do? - I would reach out to the person and let them know I am there for them, and be supportive. Because everyone needs it now and then.

 Topic three: AutoCorrect Fails? - Okay so ever since I got my Iphone. its been Autocorrect Fails DAILY. I tried to tell Jenna the other day about a Froyo place.. and it decided that Group and Froto is what I meant. Its really easy for it to happen, and I am a fast texter, so now I am finding myself to have to pay attention alot more to what I say. There are so many good fails I have had.. they always Happen with Briana or with Jenna. They would know.
