So I am bisexual and have a boyfriend who is against me having a girlfriend but I want both. What do I do? We have been together over a year.

Are you talking about having a boyfriend and a girlfriend, or do you mean that he’s against you being attracted to women?

If it’s the first, polyamory is a complicated lifestyle to lead, and I know few people who can pull it off. Sit down and have a long talk with your boyfriend about exactly why you want to be in a relationship with two people. If he comes around, great. If not, you need to respect his wishes and go from there.

If you’re saying that he’s against you liking women, Honestly, I’d leave him. I was once dating a boy who was “okay with my being bisexual, as long as I was trying to change,” and that opinion eventually tore us apart. Hope this helped!

Over 700,000 Americans identify as transgender, and often face discrimination battles with using public bathrooms. JustBathroomSigns.com has launched new gender-inclusive bathroom signs to provide equal access to people of all identities.

The new signs help alleviate the distress that transgender citizens may endure while choosing the public facility best for them. Along with male and female symbols, the signs feature different symbolic representations to show variety and inclusivity. Inspired by a sign from the Parsons School of Designs, the sign’s language reads, “Anyone can use this restroom, regardless of your gender identity or expression.”

The issue of restroom access for transgender people is a hotly debated issue. In recent weeks, Arizona Representative John Kavanagh proposed a bill that prohibited people from entering public restrooms, showers, dressing rooms, or lockers if the designated sex of the facility did not match the biological gender on their birth certificate. The bill is still currently being contested. An Idaho transgender woman was cited for trespassing for using a female bathroom in a grocery store.

Psychotherapist Jean Malpas, the Director of the Gender and Family Project for the Ackerman Institute for the Family, gave insight into the public inclusion of gender-inclusive bathroom signs. “I noticed that the ‘The Modern,’ the restaurant attached to the Museum of Modern Art, had an all gender bathroom, and nobody, younger and older, male and female patrons, seemed to mind at all.”

In response to the signage, Malpas favors a gender-inclusive representation. “The point is that gender depends on one’s identity, and not on the sex they were born in or assigned at birth.”

Ooh that’s exciting! When it comes to outfits, it all depends on how conservative you wanna dress. The colors of the flag are pink, purple, blue, so any combination of those would work. I’ve personally only been to one pride, but I’ve seen pictures of outfits that were anything from pride t-shirts to condom dresses to shorts and bodypaint (with pasties on your nipples if you’re female). Ultimately, just have fun with it :) The good thing about Pride is that people won’t judge you there :) Hope this helped! We’d love to see a pic when you decide!
